1968 Mgc Gt Overdrive Sherwood Restorations All costing £££. date of registration was 01.11.1968. the car spent most of its life in the south of england with its then current owners. painted in tartan red with a black mohair hood. the interior features black carpets, black seats piped in red and a walnut dash. a leather rimmed mota lita steering wheel finishes the lovely interior. Arriving on the market in 1967, the mgc with its 3 litre straight six engine was supposed to be the replacement for the austin healey 3000 bj8. produced until 1969 with only 8999 cars made, 4500 each for the gt and the roadster, the mgc is now seen as a rarity. the car we have here is a 1968 example, half way through the production life.
