2 0t Tfsi Coolant Flange Rear Outlet Housing Replace Remov Coolant leak solved 2.0 tsi vw 2013 cc. learned something new and wanted to share in case it helps anyone. had a coolant level light warning, pulled over at nearest gas station and added engine coolant. shortly afterwards, the entire coolant in the reservoir was gone. what i learned is that vw has two coolant pumps, one about 3" in diameter. Just a bunch of small jobs and you need a right angle driver. remove vacuum pump, then hpfp, then undo the 8 bolts to the cover and boom. if your good you don't have to remove the vacuum pump. twist the cam chain housing up, rotate towards the driver side and pull straight up comes right out all in tact. While working in this area it gave me a great opportunity to look more closely for leaks and i noticed two things that made me hold off on doing the timing belt: 1. there is a hissing noise from the coolant reservoir that is noticeable after shut down. 2. underneath the coolant reservoir it is pretty moist. 8 posts · joined 2013. #1 · jul 25, 2014. the eos has developed a coolant leak somewhere. engine off, fill up the reservoir, and there is a steady drip. turn on the engine, and there is a serious stream of coolant flowing off the oil pan. since everything is jammed up tight in the engine bay, it is hard to find the exact leak.
