Banff Mosquito Fuel Tanks Rockets 1 32 Tamiya Air The drop tanks and double tiered rocket layout only came into service with the banff mossies in march 1945, which fits with your time frame for 404 sqn which only started to re equip with mossies around that time. at the same time 100 gallon drop tanks came into use in place of the 50 gallon ones used previously. The only ones with the tanks and rockets afaik were the ones with the 100 gallon tanks and the double tier rockets. a separate little war (can't remember the name of the author but it's a pretty good book on the banff strike wing) says that the double tier rockets didn't come into service until march '45, although the larger tanks were in service for some time prior to this.
