Ignition timing at 19*. xtd prolite flywheel & stage 2 clutch. 163whp @ 6400rpm & 180lb ft @ 5400rpm. not quite the 200bhp mark, its 196bhp @ 6400rpm with ignition timing set to 19* and fueling set to 4bar. it was 192bhp @ 17* ignition advance, however at 19 there gains everywhere. Wondering if i can run e30 on this map without issues to get a little more power output but not sure if it will make a difference it without a different map for e30. the additional 40 50hp is appealing if it can be simply accomplished with just mixing my own e30 on my current set up without issues or changing any of the fuel system components. That seems very down on power. either it's been poorly maintained, or american e30s have some seriously stiffling emissions equipment compared to their british counterparts. for comparison, here's a collection of dyno graphs for m20 engines, as well as lots of other stock and modded bmw engines in (mostly british) e30s.
