Classic Mini Coolant Flush Thermostat Change Youtube In this video i flush the coolant system on my spi mini.the coolant was renewed less than 300 miles ago, i was surprised what came out with the flush!. Put it all back in then: took thermostat out. took radiator tophose off the thermostat. put a long hose onto the thermostat to where ever you want to flush it. put a hose pipe into the radiator cap. start the engine. run for a few seconds ( water pump will spray all the radiators contents out ). The fan works, the temp sensor appears to work ( i've checked with multimeter and it's showing 2.xv with the ignition on). i'm going to change the thermostat and flush the coolant but i can't find bleed valves or any info videos of how to do this and bleed the system. do any of you have a good link or advice. thanks, gary mini oned r50 2004.
