Coolant Leak After Oil Cooler Install Ford Power Stroke Nation 127 posts · joined 2011. #1 · sep 2, 2013. installed new oil cooler, stc fitting and oil drain tube and now im leaking coolant at about 1 drip per 4 5 sec when the system is pressurized. its dripping from the back side of the motor so i think its coming from the oil cooler. i checked the blue fitting on the egr delete kit and its not leaking. I filled the coolant and oil back up and cranked it. i let it run 5 or 6 minutes and then shut it down. when i checked the oil, it had a small amount of coolant in it. i drained both the coolant and the oil. i left the filter and drain plug off and refilled the coolant. i'm getting a few drips of coolant from where the filter mounts, from.
