Softball Fau Wins Two Out Of Three In Hard Fought Series Versus Middle 2024 softball season recap. boca raton, fla. – the florida atlantic softball team has concluded a highly successful 2023 24 campaign which resulted in 41 wins, claiming the american athletic conference championship regular season title in their first year with the aac, and an ncaa regionals appearance for the first time since 2016. For the relatively young program (first fielding a team in 1995), the florida atlantic university softball team has been overwhelmingly successful under the leadership of former head coach, joan joyce. in twelve seasons of competition in the atlantic sun conference (from 1995 to 2006), the lady owls won the conference championship nine times. The owls have a 27 7 record and are tied for first place in the aac. pitchers schlotterbeck and sacco, and shortstop channell are among the conference and national leaders in various categories.
