Printing with gelatin plates is fun, easy and contagious! in this online workshop i teach the approach that i take to my own fine art gelating plate monotype prints. it is a process suitable to all ages, all abilities. come and have a look. Cut the plate into small squares – 2x2cm or 1″x1″. place the pieces into a microwave dish and microwave them for approx 2 3 minutes on a low temperature. every microwave is different so start with small amounts of time (ie 30 seconds) and keep a close watch on the progress.
