Honda Forman 400 Atv Electrical Problem Youtube Electrical problems with foreman 400. my honda foreman 400 quad has been working fine, but when i tried to start it the other day theres nothing, the key (ignition switch) has been checked and is fine, when 1st checked the little 20a fuse had blown, but since then the main 30a fuse has gone. we have ruled out a mechanical problem, and think it. No power to the ignition switch. no lites come on when switch is turned on.
1998 Forman 400 Wiring Help Electronics Atv Honda The neutral light doesn't come on, my fan doesn't turn on, the lights won't work and ignition won't fire it up. i put in a new battery, charged it up, installed a new starter relay solenoid, but still nothing. the starter does work because when i jump the poles on the relay solenoid the starter turns over and the machine fires up. Down near the drive shaft. but on the broken 2015 u turn switch on and hit 4wd button and no sound at all. also i took the relay off the 2014 and tried it on tge broken bike 2015 and nothing. then tried the 2015 relay on the good 2014 and the 4wd worked fine. so the relay is not the problem. W. warf. 3 posts · joined 2009. #17 · may 8, 2011. i've a 2000 foreman 450 with a similar problem. batteries go dead, screen flashes and display needs reset every time. i have to pull start to get it running but it quits after 5 minutes or so. i've replaced the battery (twice) and the rectifier. local honda dealer is getting rich off me at. 1999 honda foreman 400 450 electrical problems are a nightmare at times, especially trying to say what it might be without a machine to test. honda atv forum.
