Intake Coolant Block Off Ford Power Stroke Nation Ok i went ahead and blocked off the coolant return in the pump housing from the oil cooler with a 3 4 brass freeze plug. then i’ll run the coolant from the cooler delete block through a coolant filter. figure this way i’ll have pressurized fluid to filter and if it get restricted it won’t cause any failures. This way you have the smooth seamless pipe without the scoop and eliminate the flow into the cooler. this is the same as putting in a plate, but will remove any possible restrictions in the pipe and i think better for the long run. 2005 f350 crew cab long bed. 6.0l auto 4x4. sct x3 5" magnaflow.

Intake Coolant Block Off Ford Power Stroke Nation Ok gues i just bought a 2008 king ranch with a 6.4 powerstroke. it has 102k on it. it already has dpf delete on it. my question is do you guys recommend i do the egr delete? also some just have block off plates some kits have more parts then just block off plates. can you guys explain the differences between the kits and what kits do you guys. It depends on your pocket book and mechanic skills. weak skills will cost you. the plate install is the easiest way and can be done in the driveway with hand tools. in the end the full delete is a better option since the egr cooler is removed preventing the chance of rupturing. you may require the use of a tuner to turn off a soft code or cel.
