I “finish” the copy in darker lead, a #2 pencil, editing along the way (i like writing, but i love editing trimming the fat to express the idea in either fewer or better words – it is the school teacher in me). anyway, once the copy’s done, the fun starts in finishing the lightly penciled artwork (again, #2 pencil) to fit the final copy.
