Output Speed Sensor Trouble Dodge Durango Forum Hey everyone, i have a 2006 durango with the 5.7l and i noticed that the dakotas from 2004 2010, dodge nitros from 2007 2011, ram 1500 from 2006 2010, durango from 2004 2009, and so on, have the same transmission and use the same sensor. went to the junkyard today and picked up a few of them and got lucky with a couple mopar ones. Reseated it and cleaned surface connections and it fixed the prob. the speedo not working below 10 (and it's below 20 where the cut off is) and the abs light isn't the same as the above problem. there are two speed sensors, one on the differential (abs) and one on the transmission. the abs speed sensor won't throw a code and won't affect shifting.
