Possibly The Best Bang For Buck Mod R Genesiscoupe Interesting discussion but in my opinion this isn't the best bang for the buck, not yet anyways. it's also not an easy one to do. some issues i have before we can call this the bbftb: 1) no one has any line on different ring pinion gears. hyundai probably won't even carry ring pinion sets. An engine leash from 380 performance is a very great super cheap mod thats easy to install. not "technically" a performance mod but it has some great benefits that can definitely be felt. 3.8 wise, there's not much cheap that'll increase power substantially. i'd focus on handling and driving experience. Dual exhausts should be at least 2.5” from the downpipes back, and single exits should be at least 3.5” from the downpipes back. exhausts with lesser airflow (e.g. 3” single exit) will reduce performance by up to 30 hp. for more info on proper exhaust design for the genesis coupe 3.8, please visit this knowledgebase article.

Best bang for the buck: heated grips: $50 ~2 hours to do the install and all of the wiring with the switch. it's a shame it's not offered as either standard or optional equipment but for those of us who commute it's a must. suspension tune by a specialist shop: $80 otd. C6 tech performance best bang for buck mods i research extensively, perhaps obsessively, before i mod a car. i don't like spending thousands and thousands on mods. i would rather spend the least amount possible to get the best gains possible. that said, i am not big on huge horsepower. i think the 400 the car.
