Skeleton Study By Royboy49 On Deviantart Assignment was to duplicate a figure drawing by an artist, then draw a skeletal structure that drawing. i chose a rembrandt etching as my figure, and this is my skeletal study of that figure. sorry, it scanned a bit weird because the drawing is on tracing paper. done in ball point pen. I went back and worked on highlights and the background and i think it looks better for it. i just wish i had an actual camera. I felt like doing a study on a pterosaur, so my next study is on dsungaripterus weii! i really love how odd their skulls are. done in photoshop. A very nicely made skeletal reconstruction. it is especially nice visually, with a quite unique technique that almost seems digital, despite being traditional art. 1. extra arms fixed behind the normal arms. in this configuration, the extra shoulder articulation is fixed at the same height as the regular arm, directly behind it. the scapula is modified to add the extra arm slot right behind the normal arm: the scapula of a 4 armed human showing 2 humeri side by side. the scapula without the humeri to see.
