Starlight as a character is fine in my opinion, and in the later episodes really grows on me. especially with all the inner struggles she does through. however, the main thing that i didn't like was how in her confrontation with twilight she seemed to be magically overpowered compared to twilight, who was an alicorn and the element of magic.

Teleport spam: after being freed, starlight rapidly teleports throughout the cavern where she was trapped to get the villains to focus on her, even blowing a raspberry at them. tempting fate: when trying to comfort twilight at the crystal empire, rainbow says it's not like things could get any worse. and then the windigos show up. Rainbow dash goes back to twilight's castle to try and work out a solution with applejack and twilight, but doesn't get much sympathy from them for lying. suddenly, she is hit with inspiration and sets out to right her wrong. meanwhile, pinkie pie is napping at sugar cube corner when she is awoken by an awful stench.
