Um Selects 2020 Distinguished Alumni Every year, the university of texas at el paso and the utep alumni association honor a group of men and women whose achievements stand out as monuments to dedication, integrity and hard work – they are the utep distinguished alumni. the university of texas at el paso has selected its 2020 distinguished alumni awardees. University alumni and friends are invited to nominate, on an individual basis, a graduate or former student for this award. recipients of the award are individuals who have distinguished themselves in a particular field and who have brought honor to the university, the state or the nation.
Um Today Acting On Passion Meet The 2020 Distinguished Alumni Award For his many contributions, he was awarded three dod distinguished public service awards and the prestigious david packard acquisitions award. throughout his career, longuemare has served in top level management and technical positions for the dod and the aerospace industry. additionally, longuemare holds eight patents and 17 patent disclosures. The suny niagara alumni association has selected two recipients for their 2020 distinguished alumni award. In 2014, the former distinguished alumni award expanded to a total of five award categories. in 2020, for the first time in daa history, we celebrated multiple recipients in the professional achievement, community service and outstanding young alumni categories. 2020 recipients: dr. judith bartlett, c.m. – lifetime achievement. Chimwemwe undi [ba (adv) 16, jd 20] is the recipient of the 2024 distinguished alumni award for outstanding young alumni. named one of cbc manitoba’s 2020 future 40, undi is a writer, poet, editor and lawyer based in winnipeg. her writing has been featured at the canadian festival of spoken word and the edinburgh international book festival.
