Year 6 Sats Grading This year, children’s raw scores (the actual number of marks they get) will be translated into a scaled score. a test score of 100 or more means a child is working at the government expected standard, and a score below 100 indicates that a child hasn’t met the expected standard. the maximum score possible is 115, and the minimum is 85. The lowest scaled score that can be awarded on a ks2 test is 80. the highest scaled score is 120. a pupil awarded a score of 99 or less has not met the expected standard in the test. parents can expect to be told their child's raw score and scaled sats scores. if a child's scaled score is at least 100 they will have met the expected standard.
